What do I do?

As Group CEO, my role involves working closely with the leadership teams at Reading Room, RONIN, and Fat Media to cultivate a group culture that encourages curiosity, ambition, and empathy for our employees and clients. I firmly believe that a happy team leads to satisfied and committed client relationships. Moreover, I foster an atmosphere of innovation and efficiency in the way we approach the work we deliver.

My experience and expertise.

I specialise in marketing management, business strategy, sales management, and organisational growth. I have an MBA and degree in economics, and a fascination for behavioural economics and consumer behaviour.

With 13 years of experience in global senior marketing roles, I transitioned into entrepreneurship by founding Netfonics. After successfully selling that venture to Virgin media, I returned to marketing; acquiring RONIN, Fat Media, and Reading Room to form Rippleffect Group. Over the past few years, Rippleffect Group has experienced significant growth, expanding its presence into the USA, Germany, and most recently, Hong Kong.

New clients may meet me during the early stages of their collaboration with Reading Room as I take a hands-on approach in understanding their needs and building a solid partnership.

What do I do?

As Managing Director of Reading Room, I work with the agency leadership team to ensure we create a culture that delivers the very best working environment possible for our employees. I believe a happy team leads to happy and more engaged client partnerships. I also ensure we create a culture of innovation and efficiency in the way we approach the work we deliver.  

My experience and expertise. 

In addition to being MD, I’m also a practitioner within the Reading Room team, heading up the growth and consultancy division of our business. This includes strategy, technical discovery, and user research. New clients will often meet me as one of the first people they engage with at Reading Room.

I have a passion for discovering the “unknown-unknowns” and am at my best when we work with clients to frame the unstructured problems they bring.

What do I do?

As Client Director at Reading Room, my goal is to help clients get the most from digital, understanding different business models and spotting opportunities to deliver real value back to investors in new and interesting way. I am currently collaborating with an array of clients, including UK Coaching, Unite the Union, NHS Health Careers, and many more.

My experience and expertise.

I have over 20 years of experience working in digital transformation and thrive when trying to propel organisations forward in their digital journeys.

What do I do?

As Client Partner at Reading Room, I get to work closely with some amazing clients. I am responsible for guiding and championing their digital business and overseeing the strategic direction of RR accounts. 

My experience and expertise.

I have over 25 years in digital development, digital strategy and management of enterprise-level builds. On top of that, I have 15 years of Sitecore experience including secure large-scale implementations for The Royal Navy, British Army, MOD, Honda, Channel 4, CHG, and the BBC. 

What do I do?

As an account director, I am the primary point of contact for various Reading Room clients. I look to develop long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring that we are meeting their needs, and helping them achieve their digital goals.

My experience and expertise. 

A successful and experienced client services professional with an integrated background across creative, strategy, media, digital, data and technology. I have experience within a number of industries including charity, public and private sector clients such as automotive, financial, travel and media.

What do I do?

As a Senior Account Executive and junior project manager at Reading Room, I get to work with a range of exciting clients from charities, hospitality, housing developments and unions.

My experience and expertise. 

Previously I worked as a social media executive for an agency helping Chinese companies market to the Western world, as well as account/project managing videos, comms and even Christmas presents for the European markets for a well-known Aligner brand.

What do I do?

My role is to support our internal teams and clients through the compliance implications of their digital transformation journey, making sure we embed privacy and data protection by default and by design in what we do, and achieve your information security objectives through proportionate means.

This takes shape through policy development, training, audits and assessments, knowledge management, process improvement, and a fair amount of legal and regulatory horizon scanning to anticipate changes affecting the work and services we deliver to our clients.

My experience and expertise.

I started working at RONIN, part of the Rippleffect Group, as a telephone interviewer doing data collection. Since then, I’ve worked as a translator, tester, project manager, internal auditor, and quality manager before moving into compliance. Other than local and international data protection regimes, my primary area of expertise lies in international Standards ISO 20252 and ISO 27001. What I enjoy most is coming up with creative and pragmatic answers to left field compliance questions!

I am CIPP/E-certified by the IAPP and sit on the Ethics & Compliance Committee of the UK’s BHBIA, the IQCS Council, and the Market Research Quality Standards Advisory Board (MRQSAB).

What do I do?

As Operations Director I’m mostly focused on operational process and tooling, which means I want to ensure how we operate as a business is consistent, efficient, profitable, and ultimately pain-free for everybody involved. My role also means I’m responsible for working across all clients, however, I’d typically only be involved in the day-to-day workings of each client as an escalation point.

My experience and expertise. 

I started my career as a developer working with Drupal, before moving to a Project Management role, and ultimately into Operations.

I’m a problem solver at heart, so I’m always trying to understand how things are done and helping people implement better processes that make their lives easier.
